Heckle Justin Trudeau and risk a criminal charge
« on: August 28, 2018, 02:16:48 PM »

Following his heckling of Trudeau in Montreal during Quebec’s fete nationale holiday during which he questioned Trudeau about his Quebec allegiances, Matthieu Brien found himself being charged with “obstructing a peace officer in the execution of his duty.”

Details of the precipitating interactions were not made public, but when Brien appeared in court on July 23  to plead not guilty, the Crown prosecutor refused to remove bail conditions on the 31-year-old which forbids him from engaging in political activity or be in the presence of a politician.

Matthieu Brien is now running as a Bloc Quebec candidate in that riding (Papineau) where Justin Trudeau in the M.P.

Here he is announcing his candidature for the Bloc Quebecois in the riding of PAPINEAU
